中国计划于今年进入创新型国家行列。2019年世界知识产权组织公布了全球创新指数，中国位列130个国家中第14位，五年中上升了15位。仲量联行公布的2019全球创新城市20强列表中，上海排名第11位。达索于2012年将其亚太地区总部从东京搬至上海。如今，达索系统与中国各大公司都有合作项目，如中国商飞，中国船舶工业集团和华为等公司。达索为其提供3D体验平台。

China plans to develop into an innovation-oriented country by the end of 2020. According to the Global Innovation Index released by World Intellectual Property Organization in 2019, China ranked 14th among 130 listed countries. China’s commitment to innovation has pushed its position up 15 spots in just 5 years. Jones Lang LaSalle listed Shanghai 11th in its Global Top 20 Innovation Geographies in 2019. Dassault relocated its 3D experience platform Asia-Pacific headquarters from Tokyo to Shanghai in 2012. Currently, it is working with major Chinese companies such as COMAC, CSSC, and Huawei, offering innovative solutions. 

“事实上，创新对资源和能力提出了更高的要求，因为现在在中国，各个行业都在不断提升体量。我们从在中国制造走向了在中国创造。在我看来，中国创造需要提升创新能力。如今企业之间的竞争力已经不只是在价格方面，而是在产品的品质。同时，这些产品也不仅仅是面向中国市场，更要走向全球。而上海，尤其是浦东为我们提供了创新的活力空间。”

"The reality is innovation require more and more resources and capacity because multi industries in China are developing new capacity. So we move from manufacturing in China to creating in China. And for me creating in China needs innovation capacity. And the question now is not only to have a low price, it's we have quality. And certainly to serve the world, not only China. And Shanghai is definitely in Pudong specifically, an area of this dynamic of innovation, it's key."
